All over the world thousands of animals are being abused, destroyed and tortured. They have done little more than exist and act as their instincts tell them to and yet we still see fit to excesively kill and capture them. This MUST stop!

The aim of Poems In Crimson is to raise awareness of the cruelty that happens around us all the time. We hope that by doing this we can help, in some small way, to prevent these cruelties happening. We are aware that there are organisations much larger and with much more influence than us but that does not mean what we do won't help. We are just spreading the word but the more people who start to see how horrible these crimes are the less people there are to even think of joining those who we oppose, whether knowingly or not.

* To join please note us and we will add your name to the members list ^^

How Can I Help?
* The easiest way to help our cause is to submit as much literature/artwork as you like to our gallery. As you know every time something is uploaded it becomes viewable from the "Browse" link at the top of the page. So now when people are flicking through the new deviations they will see your art and hopefully start thinking about the reason behind it.
* If you want to help the Club in particular then you can offer to supply a prize for one of the competitions (journal feature/giftart etc.) or you can donate subscription.
* Also by putting a link to the club in a journal entry or giving a link to someone who seems interested in the issue will encourage people to visit us, which would be great!^^

How Do I Submit?
* To submit just upload the piece to your gallery and send us a note titled "Submition" with a link to your deviation and, if it's appropriate we will upload it to the Club Gallery (please read the Rules of Submition) We will try and ensure that people comment and fave on the original so that they know who created the piece and give you some good old fashion DA love!!

What Are The Benefits of Joining?
* Well, firstly you're helping to prevent cruelty to animals but if that's not enough!!!....
* We hold competitions as often as possible with some great prizes which are only open to Club Members.
* All the deviations that you upload will be given links to your page, which will help increase your pageviews and possibly watchers/faves.
* And also your name will be linked in the Members List so Deviants will see that you're helping a good cause, this will encourage them to visit and possibly increase your pageviews/watchers/faves.
* But more importantly you will meet new Deviants who also feel strongly about the matter and have the same interests as you, so you're sure to make new friends!

I Have a Suggestion...
* If you have any suggestions for the club please send us a note titled "Suggestion" and we will get back to you as soon as possible and give you credit if we follow up your idea!
* If you have an idea for a theme for one of our competition then feel free to share it, again just send a note titled "Competition Theme" (or something similar!) and you will receive credit if we use your idea^^

How Do I Find Out About Competitions?
* We post journal entries for each competition so you'll be notified throgh the DevWatch system.
* Also if you are planning on entering but haven't finished you piece please comment in the journal so we can add you to the "Competitors" list.

How Do I Submit for a Competition?
* It is the same as entering a normal deviation just title the note which has the link as "Competition Entry" instead of "Submition"^^

THE RULES

Rules of Joining

* Remember send us a note titled "Join" if you want to join, don't just "watch" because you won't be counted as a member.

* When you are accepted (you will receive a note in reply to yours) please put a link to the club in your Journal. If you don't have a section in your journal dedicated to what clubs you're in then you do not have to link us in every entry, once is the minimum but after that it's up to you whether you want to link us or not.

* Also, please "watch" us as this is an easier way to keep you updated.

Rules of Submition.

* Whereas we encourage spreading the word of animal cruelty through your art we do not want to be seeing shed loads of graphic and bloody deviations. Sometimes a piece which makes someone think, or feel sorry for the subject is more effective than a piece that makes them want to switch off their computer or throw up! So keep 'em clean, we don't mind a bit of grimness but we don't want to scare potential members away!

* Any deviations that you wish to submit must be in some way related to our cause. We don't expect them all to be related to the cruel aspects of the issue, you are free to submit deviations which represent hope, faith or the freedom of a saved subject. We are quite flexible with what we will allow uploaded, if it has an animal in it your fairly safe that we'll allow it!!

* Needless to say if we find out that a piece of work you wish to submit is stolen then we will definately NOT upload it. We will make sure the victim of the theft is aware of the steal and it is likely we will delete your membership. (Unless we are persuaded otherwise, for instance if you plead that you're a noob and were unsure of the concept of stealing. However repeat offenders will not be tolerated)
To help us with this issue if you know that a piece of art in our gallery is stolen but we haven't done anything about it, it's probably because we don't know! So please Note us and tell us and where possible provide a link to the original artist or the original deviation. Thanks^^
